Berlin's Philosophers

The idea was to make paintings of drunk philosophers in this place dominated by graffitis in Friedrischain , Berlin. It's a point already known for the graffitis and the clubs that took over the abandoned buildings, and it's just beside a huge avenue.
However, it was quite different to paint in the snow with -6 to -10 as temperature. Not only it's damn cold and we (me and the photographer) couldn't stay for long, but the spray paint didn't attach itself so well over the wall, and the acrylic was just bizarre as everything was wet already. So I just had to quit doing realistic forms, and they're more drunk figures than the images of the philosophers I wanted.
I was thinking of working longer, imagining that the work was far from good when a man came by and asked me if I was the painting's author. Embarrassed I said yes, and then I was surprised when he pointed to the less finished picture and said: I loved this! I want you to make this inside my club!
After that I decided that I could use the different style, and then I realized it was actually much better than my original plan anyway. I ended up doing a expressionist work in Germany, how not to enjoy such oportunity?
ps: Unhappily I didn't have the time to do the paintings in the club as I left the city, but I got free invitations to a party there and used it wisely. The club's name is " Suicide Circus", what made me think about the state of my paintings...
